Tim Richey is an executive vice president of the Capital Markets Group in Cushman & Wakefield’s Denver office. Richey specializes in the representation of institutional investors in the disposition of significant retail and office properties throughout the Rocky Mountain Region. Tim Richey along with his partner, Mike Winn, have been awarded NAIOP Colorado’s prestigious Investment Brokers of the Year and/or the DBJ/DMCAR Investment Broker of the Year in 1997, 1999, and 2003 - 2008. Total transaction volume during their 19-year partnership exceeds $9.2 billion.
Mr. Richey joined Cushman and Wakefield in February 1998 after spending seven years with the Grubb & Ellis Company as a senior vice president. Tim Richey graduated from the University of Wisconsin’s Real Estate Program in 1988 with a Masters of Science in Business, Real Estate Appraisal, and Investment Analysis. His undergraduate studies were in architecture and planning, graduating in 1984 from the University of Colorado. He is a licensed real estate broker in the State of Colorado. In addition, he is an active member of the ICSC, Urban Land Institute, National Association of Industrial/Office Properties and also has sat on the Board of Directors of the University of Wisconsin Alumni Association.
